Amor Malus
By Danielle Wirsansky
Artist's statement:
The stories and people of our past never really leave us behind—nor can we escape them. We can run or stay; cower or stand tall; hide or face our fears. But no matter where we go, the past has already sidled its way inside of us, shaping us into new people with every step that we take. With every moment, with every breath, we change. The past remains. But the future waits ahead.
