Artist's statement:

My series starts with an original digital photograph which is then edited in a variety of digital editing programs. The barb wire represents the barrier that anger can place us in while the flowers, colors, and added effects depict a break through or resolution. My series is constantly pushing to seek the light through the sharp pain.
